Painted on a recycled gesso'd canvas, for this piece my heart was set to use as little brush strokes as comfortable, in as little time, and to convey a sense of isolation, forgottenness, silent serenity. Meaningful in its origin, I'm learning to be kind to myself by reusing canvases that I previously painted and abandoned.
After 1 hour of under-painting and 3 hours of painstaking detail work, I'm proud to offer you the opportunity to own that sense of melancholy magic, captured in an intimately sized 4"x4" stretched recycled canvas, gesso-primed and semi-gloss varnished to ensure you receive the highest quality offered.
